## The Challenge

- Complex scientific workflows in user interface
- High sensitivity to data formatting accuracy
- Performance issues during interactive configuration
- Visual clarity across dense analytical outputs
- Tight coupling between evolving API and UI

## The Solution

A guided, user-friendly platform with robust validation, optimised performance, standardised visual outputs, and clearly defined frontend-backend workflows, enabling accurate, low-cost automated soil carbon monitoring.

## Project Highlights

### Research-grade science made operational

Advanced spectroscopic modelling developed with Curtin University was translated into a usable, repeatable workflow for non-technical users.

### End-to-end automation of soil carbon estimation

The platform enables low-cost, scalable estimation of soil carbon stocks from raw spectral data through to mapped and validated results.

### Flexible architecture supporting ongoing refinement

A modular front-end and API-driven backend allow the system to evolve as modelling methods, datasets, and validation requirements change.
